The advantages go further: if you work with certain chemicals, an epoxy floor is a perfect choice because of its complete resistance to them. This makes a metallic floor a wonderful option for a wide variety of in-house working areas.

On top of everything, installing the metallic epoxy floor coating system is one of the most cost-effective solutions for anybody. Considering all the advantages it has over some other kinds of flooring, the calculation is clear – this is one of the best investments you will ever make, whether you want it for your kitchen and bath areas, living rooms and sitting rooms or your personal garage and basement work spaces.

Now while the Metallic floors are not the easiest to apply, there is no wrong way to do the design portion of this since it’s entirely up to you and how you want your floor to look!

The epoxy is in liquid form and mixed with metallic pigments when applied.  It hardens due to a chemical reaction.  There are no Harmful odors or Solvents in the epoxy so it is ideal for interior applications.  Eight hours after it's application the epoxy is mostly cured but not ready for foot traffic.  Twenty-four hours later it is ready for foot traffic only.  We recommend moving heavy furniture back after at least Forty-eight hours as the epoxy is relatively soft.  When completely cured it is roughly 1/16th of an inch thick.

The Epoxy's application technique is basically always the same.  The only difference is the colors used.  However Two floors with the same Two colors will look very different.  The flow of the epoxy is always different.  This is why each Metallic Epoxy Floor is completely Unique.  The cooler the liquid epoxy, the floor and the house it is being applied in, the more fluid movement you will get.  The resulting look is made by what it really an organic representation of a mix between the colors used.  The final result is not predictable.  It is completely random.
